About the role
The Quality Engineer (Temporary) will work for ENNOVI on site at its Northvale, NJ plant for about 6 months.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish and implement process control plans to include capability studies, gage repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations.
- Development of inspection and work instructions
- Performance process capability studies
- Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications
- Prepare and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages ensuring all elements are met per customer requirements.
- Participates in and performs Layered Process Audits (LPA) per plan.
- Management of Customer and Internal Complaints, Supplier if needed.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering
- Professional experience ~5 years
- Automotive experience
- IATF16949 Knowledge
- Manufacturing process experience
- Knowledge in GD&T
- Organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames
- Capacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance)
- Participate in Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Core tools Knowledge
- Problem solving background (8D’s Methodology)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external
- Strong attention to detail
