1st shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
3rd shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30 PM–8:00 AM
About the role
As a Quality Engineer with Jabil, you will represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing on global customer accounts. You will also serve as a liaison between Jabil and suppliers or customers on global quality-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain QA plans and timelines for global new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization specific to the customer.
- Provide support for all quoting activities by participating in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
- Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
- Support all global training programs specific to the customer by developing and implementing specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.
- Develop appropriate systems for document storage, access, and review pertaining to global customer accounts.
- Review all supplier, internal, and customer discrepancies; coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective/proactive action efforts.
- Conduct periodic review and maintenance of all documentation files; develop systems for document storage and access.

- Participate in vendor survey activities as applicable.
- Drive proactive participation with suppliers and, when possible, aid in their process improvement efforts.
- Interface with all departments regarding Policies and Procedures.
- Provide insight and assistance in implementing and maintaining Process Improvement and Optimization, concentrating on proactive methodologies.
- Assist in driving the standardization of manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
- Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a similar discipline.
- At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- ASQ/QE certification strongly preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
- IPC 600 and 610 preferred.
