About the role

Responsible for the efficient operation, organization, and oversight of the team; executing the production plan to maximize throughput.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute quality philosophies, principles, systems, risk, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems, and professional ethics.
  • Understand and execute the quality system, including its development, documentation, and implementation with respect to domestic and international standards or requirements.
  • Develop and manage quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Establish, promote, and execute product and process quality, quality principles, including planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems.
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management, including key terms and definitions, modeling, systems design, assessment tools, and reporting.
  • Manage, plan, control, implement, and assure process and/or project application, readiness, and requirements.
  • Completely understand and employ problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques, including knowledge of management and planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality.
  • Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
  • Identify, acquire, and analyze data using appropriate standard quantitative methods across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate process analysis and improvements.
  • Understand and execute the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up.
  • Review customers' purchase orders, contracts, and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans.
  • Review suppliers' purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
  • Compile, write, and deliver training material on quality standards and activities.
  • Understand and execute basic calibration determinations and functions.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.

Requirements

  • High School diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in Aerospace Chemical Processing.
  • Catia and Nadcap Experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person”.
