Job Description
- Supports Instrumentation team in documentation required for the maintenance, repair, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment.
- Includes reviewing laboratory equipment records for completeness and compiling and entering service information into databases.
- Monitors or tracks equipment status by utilizing databases, email or other form of communication.
- Maintains ongoing communication with customers regarding equipment status.
- Creates and assigns equipment related Work Requests.
- Possess good understanding of ISO requirements.
- Possess strong knowledge of good documentation practices.
- Uses in-house databases to find and enter information about equipment.
- Prepares and compiles equipment status reports.
- Scans and attaches equipment data to appropriate equipment records in databases.
- Assists in writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs.
- Assists Instrumentation staff with routine administrative tasks including, but not limited to, copying, filing, and distributing of equipment data.
Education & Skills
- Minimum requirements for this position include a High School Diploma.
- Good written and verbal communication and competence in Microsoft Office products is required.
- Familiarity with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager software is highly desired.
- In addition, must be able to use the internet to search and obtain information.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail and have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and possess ability to quickly switch gears while working on multiple projects.
