QUALITY COORDINATOR III
Position Summary
Ensures compliance to MEC requirements, quality standards, drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure documents and materials comply with company policies, procedures, work instructions, standard practices, and training materials
- Precisely interpret drawings and adhere to the MEC quality management system
- Precisely entry, monitoring, and updating in spreadsheets and databases
- Effectively communicate quality control process and requirements to internal and external customers
- Maintain and monitor SAP in accordance with established processes, ensuring detailed information and status updates
- Manage and oversee multiple internal databases
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
- Perform additional tasks as required
Skills And Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Aerospace experience
- Proficient with basic algebra
- Minimum 2 years ERP experience
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to solve problems, make decisions, and think outside the box
- Strong work ethics: meet deadlines, multitask, reliable, works well under pressure
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace experience with Quality focus
- Experience reading and interpreting drawing and specification requirements
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) experience
- ERP experience specifically with SAP
Work Environment
Medium-to-large inspection and production floor environment
Fast paced office environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments
Salary Range
Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $26.34 - $35.44/hr (Non-Exempt)
Salary Is Based On Skills, Experience, And Education.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
