Quality Control Technician WEEKEND

Our reputation rides on every piece of gear that leaves our warehouse, so the Quality Control (QC) department is critical to business growth and customer satisfaction. The Quality Control Technician primarily works in the QC department of a branch warehouse but may be temporarily reassigned to other departments as workflow and business demands dictate.
Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment
- Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition
- Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items
- Manage firmware versions for applicable devices
- Organize and store all tested equipment
- Correctly process missing or damaged equipment
- Meet hard deadlines and plan workflow to match client needs
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Provide exceptional customer support for clients
- Follow direction of department leaders and managers
- Assist other departments when necessary
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working with professional audio visual and computer equipment
- Basic understanding of inventory software for workload forecasting
- Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not supervise other employees.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle objects/tools/controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, and communicate with coworkers. Occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Schedule
Full-time position. Days and hours are subject to change and may rotate. Business needs may require long hours and weekend work during high-demand periods.
