Quality Control Technician Sandusky

About the role

The Lab Technician reports directly to the Q.A. Supervisor / Lead and is responsible for completing tasks related to Color and Quality Control, ensuring the overall performance of the Q.A. function.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required QA tests per test methods for every batch, entering QC information into the SAP system before product feedback for shipping.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Follow directions from the Senior Production Supervisor and Production Leads regarding priority batches.
• Adhere to Quality directives set by the Research Department.
• Communicate all quality and safety concerns to the Q.A. Supervisor / Lead or another supervisor if unavailable.
• Maintain lab housekeeping and appearance to promote safety and quality work.
• Comply with all PPE requirements.
• Submit improvement suggestions to a supervisor or via the suggestion box.
• Support and strive to meet Plant and Corporate Goals as outlined by the Director of Manufacturing and Site Manager.
• Participate in plant meetings, including PACT/HSE, general plant meetings, training sessions, and Quarterly Quality Review meetings.
• Maintain procedures and practices required for ISO certification.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer literate.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented.
