Responsibilities

  • Assist Quality Engineers and Associate Quality Engineers in coordinating and implementing quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
  • Coordinate with Test Engineers to perform test inspections.
  • Perform audits on test fuel, coolant, oil filtration systems, and ensure quality meets standards.
  • Analyze and validate test data and process quality check sheets.
  • Process Test Deviations on Quality issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of experience in quality, industrial, or manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of manufacturing processes and engine technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for internal combustion engines.
  • Understanding of dynamic performance requirements, test setup and monitoring, and problem resolution for internal combustion engines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours or shifts.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with plant operations and equipment.
  • Knowledge of MTU components and products.
  • Strong understanding of internal combustion engine performance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of gauge and test equipment.

Mental & Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to push, pull, carry, lift, or move materials weighing between 10-50 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, and color vision.
  • Ability to inspect MTU America engine products under a fluorescent black light.

Pay

$25.11 - $37.67 hourly.

Schedule

Full-time, Sunday–Wednesday, 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM.
