Quality Control Technician Lead 2nd Shift (M-Th 4pm-2:30am)

About the Role
Lead and motivate the performance of key quality teams in support of manufacturing. Drive improvements for quality control processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Gives direction and improvement recommendations for quality processes.
- Ensures compliance with quality control standards.
- Monitors quality processes.
- May conduct quality training programs for technicians, inspectors and/or for the production line.
- Mentors quality and line staff and facilitates problem solving.
- Maintains standard quality practices across all processes.
- Records data, makes computations, analyzes results, and writes reports.
Requirements
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership ability
- Strong manufacturing knowledge (5S, Lean Manufacturing, technical drawing understanding)
- Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications
- Education: HS Graduate, AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years prior quality control experience required, preferably in manufacturing environment
- People Leadership Experience Desired, But Not Required
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Production/Manufacturing environment
- Lifts up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
- Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
