Quality Control Technician

About the role

This position provides critical quality control analysis as part of a small, dynamic, and influential Quality Control team for the company’s unique and highly regulated Medical Device and Aerospace products (21 CFR, ISO 13485, AS 9100). The person filling this role will leverage their expertise in precision measuring instrumentation, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Optical/Vision Systems, Material Testing Machines, Surface and Hardness Testers, etc. to release products to market or material to production. This person may be called on to partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and/or Engineering and provide insights for process improvement or issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control analysis on Medical Device and Aerospace products
• Operate precision measuring instrumentation (e.g., CMM, Optical/Vision Systems, Material Testing Machines, Surface and Hardness Testers)
• Release products to market or material to production
• Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and/or Engineering to provide insights for process improvement or issue resolution

• QC machinery use (preferred)

Experience Required

• 1-3 years in relevant Quality Control position
• QC machinery (preferred)

Physical/Environmental Demands

• Laboratory, manufacturing floor, and office
• Some locations may be dusty and/or noisy and require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, gloves, face mask, eye protection, etc.
• Prolonged sitting, walking, and standing
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Education/Knowledge Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
