Quality Control Technician

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Perform routine environmental monitoring and water sampling activities.
• Maintain inventory records for laboratory reagents, consumables, and test samples.
• Cook up and prepare sample shipments for contract laboratories and off-site testing.
• Order laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Organize and maintain laboratory records and test documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with cGMP requirements and data integrity standards.
• Communicate testing results, observations, and quality-related issues to internal stakeholders.
• Support laboratory housekeeping and general organizational activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

• Achieved an Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Had 1–2 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Had previous experience in a GMP Quality Control environment.
• Had experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry.
• Showed strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Showed good documentation practices and understanding of data integrity principles.
• Showed excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Showed effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Showed strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Showed ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Showed comfort working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment with changing priorities.

Work Environment

• This is a fully on site role and requires five days per week at our Watertown, MA location.
• Annual Base salary range: $60,000 - $65,000.
