Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform routine environmental monitoring and water sampling activities.
- Maintain inventory records for laboratory reagents, consumables, and test samples.
- Cook up and prepare sample shipments for contract laboratories and off-site testing.
- Order laboratory supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Organize and maintain laboratory records and test documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with cGMP requirements and data integrity standards.
- Communicate testing results, observations, and quality-related issues to internal stakeholders.
- Support laboratory housekeeping and general organizational activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Achieved an Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Had 1–2 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
- Had previous experience in a GMP Quality Control environment.
- Had experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry.
- Showed strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Showed good documentation practices and understanding of data integrity principles.
- Showed excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Showed effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Showed strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Showed ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Showed comfort working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment with changing priorities.
Work Environment
- This is a fully on site role and requires five days per week at our Watertown, MA location.
- Annual Base salary range: $60,000 - $65,000.
