Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities
- Involved in assuring that the final assembly, configuration, and inspection of product meets required customer and regulatory specifications.
- Serves as an internal source of final configuration, quality inspection, testing, compliance, and production expertise; ensures product meets internal quality specifications prior to shipping.
- Inspects final configuration work to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedules, and construction specifications.
- Verifies that the functional mechanical and electronic capabilities of each chair meet the requirements of the sale order and quality standards.
- Uses acquired technical skill and product knowledge to determine the products compliance to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoots any mechanical and electronic non-conforming aspects of the product and recommends needed repair.
- Maintains an organized and safe environment in the warehouse and works closely with Quality Control.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and related experience required.
- Demonstrated ability in following detailed instructions in engineering operations and procedures.
- Advanced technical intuition.
- Two or more years of experience building Permobil products is preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain excellent human relations skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, codes, protocols, and procedures pertinent to production activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Solid troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications

Pay
The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
Schedule
Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm (Overtime as needed)
