Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow and provide directions.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings (Tool Box Talks).
- Show a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.
- Report to the assigned job site in proper work attire ready to begin work at the designated start time.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety Practices & Procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the book of company policies.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses using various analytical instruments and techniques.
- Prepare and standardize chemical solutions, reagents, and samples according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental data, observations, and results.
- Absorb and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Clean the lab working area after completing job tasks and dispose of debris properly.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Education And/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to work with general tools and build prototypes with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment screening and testing.
- Strict Adherence to safety requirements, procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, based on project needs and demands.
