About the role

AESC is looking to add (1) QC Technicians to our team in Smyrna. Full-TimeOn-site Smyrna, TN (Battery Plant)

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily QC testing and reporting of results to support manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance.
  • Supports QC Technologist and team members on all testing requirements and operation of QC instrumentation.
  • Supports achievement of Safety, Quality, Cost and Time (SQCT) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coincide and communicate with assigned QC Technologist and peers on other shifts to ensure standardization of QC operations.
  • Interact and coordinate with maintenance and engineering to identify countermeasure issues with equipment, processes, or materials.
  • Investigates material variances and reports result of investigation to management.
  • Support quality investigations as needed.
  • Proactively identify and communicate safety concerns before an incident.

Requirements

  • At least two years of related battery experience.
  • Preferrably two years of post-high school education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other PC applications.
  • Experience with MES, Traceability, and Quality systems (interface, data entry and reporting functions).

Nice to Have

  • High volume manufacturing experience.
  • Clean/ dry room experience.
  • Battery cell production experience.
  • Background in QC testing and operating QC equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with MES, Traceability, and Quality systems (interface, data entry and reporting functions).
