Quality Control Tech 2nd shift

About the role

INX International is a globally recognized innovator in ink and coating solutions, blending art, science, and sustainability. As a Quality Control Technician in our Ink Lab, you’ll contribute to producing high-quality products while supporting our commitment to a safe and sustainable future.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatings.
• Complete associated clerical work, including entering results into SAP, printing labels, and filing.
• Maintain the lab area through 5S cleaning practices.
• Establish and maintain accurate and complete quality records in SAP.
• Perform color quality tests, make batch additions and adjustments, and implement timely corrections for production.
• Calibrate and verify test equipment.
• Investigate and analyze non-conforming batches (internal and external).
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage sample retention.
• Perform customer proofing as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a color vision test.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts if needed.
• Excellent verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills, along with strong math abilities.
• 6 to 12 months of previous lab or quality control-related work experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing operations and basic aspects of printing technologies.
• Experience working in a high-volume department.
• Prior experience in a Lean Manufacturing facility.
• Trade or technical school education.
• Availability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• SAP knowledge.
• Previous experience in the ink industry.
