Essential Job Functions
- Fulfills all regular production duties and completes required paperwork in a timely manner
- Oversees a team of employees and prioritizes work
- Primary responsibilities include training and instructing inspectors how to properly inspect parts
- Organizes and trains employees to complete products within established guidelines and time frames
- Ensures management needs are met and maintained
- Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction
- Aids in managing implemented quality systems
- Identifies non-conformances through specified inspection methods
- Absorbs measurement metrics to keep track of efficiency and quality
Additional Responsibilities
- Meet company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis
- Perform all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments
Physical Activities
- Work may be active, could stand or sit for long durations and/or perform repetitious work at times
- The employee may lift or move objects up to 20 pounds
- Employees must grasp, manipulate, or assemble parts and components that are often very small
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, may be noisy at times
Requirements
- Education: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Basic computer knowledge such as but not limited to Microsoft products and Axapta
- Experience with Quality in an R&D / New Product Development Environment
- Strong ability to work well in a group atmosphere and comply with high quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
