Quality Control Specialist - Evening Shift

About the role

Their work ensures quality at every step, protecting both the product and the brand. The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. They play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the production process and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Identify and address quality issues or deviations from specifications.
• Analyze data and compile reports on quality performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, chemistry, or quality management preferred but not always required or equivalent to experience.
• Relevant certifications in Quality Control and Assurance may also be considered.
• Understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using quality analysis tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and best practices in quality control and assurance.
