Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Own and maintain quality control standards, inspection protocols, and documentation requirements across warehouse and field operations.
- Conduct and oversee field and warehouse inspections; analyze findings, identify trends, and determine corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
- Lead non-conformance management, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and follow-up validation.
- Partner with Installation and Quality Control leadership to improve material handling, job readiness, and installation execution quality.
- Evaluate installer and crew performance using inspection data; provide structured feedback, recommendations, and retraining guidance.
- Develop and support quality-focused training initiatives for installers and installation partners, including onboarding and ongoing skill development.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, rework rates, service trends, and compliance outcomes; present insights to leadership.
- Ensure quality procedures align with safety standards and company policies; identify risks and escalate systemic issues proactively.
Required Education And Experience
- Associate’s degree or Vocational Education.
- 2–4 years of installation and/or quality control experience. If experience can offset education, an additional 2 years of experience are required.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to conduct job site inspections as needed, including roofs.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM, inspection tools, and reporting systems.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and influence outcomes without direct supervision.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Or Certifications
- Experience with quality programs in field-based or installation environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance standards.
- Ability to interpret installation scopes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
- Experience identifying systemic process gaps and recommending improvements.
- Strong communication skills to influence installers, peers, and leadership.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 50% US and/or Canadian travel required.
