Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control (QC) reviews of all orders that are pulled, packed, and shipped to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct comprehensive final inspections of outbound shipments to verify product quality, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and documentation compliance.
- Validate all shipping documentation, including customer details, carrier information, and regulatory paperwork prior to release.
- Capture and maintain photographic documentation of pallets, freight conditions, and trailer loading for audit and verification purposes.
- Track and analyze KPIs including order accuracy, shipment damages, return rates, and quality trends.
- Investigate discrepancies, shipping errors, and damage claims; perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate recurring quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations across warehouse operations.
- Provide suggested improvements with products, warehousing, labeling, and team member work practices.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on quality standards, inspection procedures, documentation requirements, and safety best practices.
- Partner with Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics teams to resolve quality-related issues and align customer expectations.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
Required Skills And Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of NetSuite.
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data tracking.
- Understanding inventory control and logistics processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or quality control.
- Experience in inventory management and material handling environments.
Physical Requirements
- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities.
