Overview

Quality Control Specialist II contributes to the overall success of the organization by ensuring products and services meet customers’ expectations, regulatory requirements, project specifications, and ENFRA quality control program.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Documentation: Managing and maintaining comprehensive documentations of quality control activities, inspections results, weld maps, torque maps and compliance records.

  • Site QC Audits: Conduct visual inspections to ensure installed products meet project requirements, company standards and local codes. Communicate any quality issues or concerns to supervisors, Foreman, and project managers to ensure meeting customer specifications, local codes and standards.

  • QC Project Reporting: Document and communicate project’s unresolved issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Enhance product quality, reduce waste, optimize processes, and increase efficiency. Collaborate with project superintendents, Foreman and project managers to implement best practices and quality improvement.

  • Review of project documents: Ensure accuracy and completeness of project documents, check for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information. Ensure quality control processes and products comply with industry standards, local codes and customer specifications.

  • Mentoring and Training: Provide knowledge, skills and guidance to Quality Control Specialist 1 and project team members.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of construction or fabrication experience.

  • Osha 30.

  • Ability to create reports and documents using Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and other various software.

  • General knowledge of quality programs and processes.

  • Communication Skills, Attention to Detail, Organizational Skills, Safe work habits, Data Analysis and Reporting, Technical skills, Codes and Standards, Continuous Improvement Mindset.

  • Required to complete 20 hours of Continuing Education Hours or obtain a professional certification by December 31st of each year.

Travel Requirements

0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Climbing stairs.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Quiet environment.
  • Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $58,880.00 - USD $77,570.00 /Yr.
