Quality Control Scientist I or II

About the role

The Quality Control Scientist I or II will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is responsible for performing analytical tests, maintaining equipment calibration, and documenting results according to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute analytical tests using state-of-the-art instruments to ensure product quality.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Document all test results and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Participate in internal audits and investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality control role.
• Knowledge of GLP and cGMP regulations.
• Experience with common laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to travel to various sites within the Pacific Northwest region.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
