About the role
The Quality Control Scientist I or II will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is responsible for performing analytical tests, maintaining equipment calibration, and documenting results according to established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Execute analytical tests using state-of-the-art instruments to ensure product quality.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Document all test results and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Participate in internal audits and investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar quality control role.
- Knowledge of GLP and cGMP regulations.
- Experience with common laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel to various sites within the Pacific Northwest region.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
