Minimum Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferably with a major in math or science or equivalent experience in managing a Quality Department.
- Previous supervisory experience, at least 3 years preferred
- Apply math and science skills and perform basic statistical calculations.
- Microsoft Suite proficient
Responsibilities
- Supervise all Quality Inspectors to ensure that all quality and production standards are maintained.
- Interface with customers regarding audits, complaints, specifications and certificates of compliance.
- Prepare 100% inspection report and light transmission tests.
- Review Daily Inspection Reports, Electronic Process Journals (EPJ), and production schedules.
- Attend Priority Meetings prior to and after the shift change to discuss schedule changes, “down” equipment, quality issues and other miscellaneous items.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all manufacturing orders including Product Quality Standards, Quality Cards, Labels, Manufacturing Orders, Product Drawings, Bottle Inspection Reports, etc.
- Administer the training program for all Quality Inspectors and back-ups.
- Perform internal plant audits and assist in correcting any deficiencies.
- Jointly conduct root cause analysis and Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions (CAPAs) for all customer complaints. Prepare customer complaint response letters as appropriate.
