Quality Control Manager (QCM) - Federal GC

About the role

The Quality Control Manager will serve as the project leader for all quality-related activities, ensuring construction is performed in strict accordance with contract documents, project specifications, federal requirements, and company standards. The QCM will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, government representatives, and project stakeholders to identify potential quality issues early, maintain compliance, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all quality-related activities for ground-up and build-up federal construction projects
• Ensure construction is performed in strict accordance with contract documents, project specifications, federal requirements, and company standards
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, government representatives, and project stakeholders
• Identify potential quality issues early and maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Experience working on federal construction projects
• Background in ground-up and build-up construction
• Ability to be hands-on in the field
• Ownership mentality for project quality programs
