About the role

The QCM/BPRP Manager ensures that the product or service provided is fit for its intended purpose, consistent, and meets both external and internal requirements. This role has full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified in the contract are met, including legal compliance and customer expectations. The QCM/BPRP Manager coordinates activities required to meet quality standards, manages inspections and evaluations of processes, and monitors the performance of the quality management system (QMS). They produce data and reports on performance, liaise with managers and staff to ensure the QMS functions properly, and advise top management on QMS changes and implementation. The role also involves assisting with training to achieve quality objectives and ensuring the QMS conforms to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Act on behalf of the Contractor with authority to direct removal, rework, or replacement of defective materials or poor-quality workmanship.
  • Perform inspections, identify corrective and preventive actions, and conduct follow-up activities.
  • Serve as the key contact with customers to ensure execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customer specifications.
  • Prepare and document quality plans, policies, procedures, and summaries, including subcontract activities.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits.
  • Verify Contractor-furnished PM records, cards, tags, or logbooks are attached to or placed near each piece of equipment in a conspicuous location.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive quality and company proprietary information and promote quality awareness.
  • Coordinate and document the Subcontractor Performance Evaluation program.
  • Act as management representative to ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in quality control evaluation and reporting in construction or facility management.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in comparably sized health facilities within a CDC-inspected, DoD-cognizant facility operating at BSL-2, 3, & 4 as identified by the CDC and NIH.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.
  • Proven ability to develop Quality Plans and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Pay

Yearly salary range: $89,800–$103,000.
