What You Will Be Doing Quality Control Manager will oversee, facilitate and implement Quality Management System (QMS) for Yancey Engineered Solutions (YES), a division of Yancey Bros. Co. Primary Responsibilities Oversee Quality Management SystemMaintain ISO 9001-2015 accreditationProcess and file phase inspection procedures on custom fabricated fuel tanks and generator enclosuresTrack and record Quality Management metrics - Customer satisfaction surveys, Non-Conformance, Corrective Actions, SafetyTrack and record continuous improvement cardsSet budgets and manage any warranty callsTravel to meetings, customer sites and vendors Additional Responsibilities Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe mannerComplete additional tasks as assigned by management Who We Are Looking For To be successful in this position you will have prior experience with quality control management, ISO 9001 and strong accountability and initiative. This position also requires someone who has advanced problem solving skills, drive and attention to detail. Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree and/or 5 years of experience in a Quality Role within Manufacturing or related experience within the industry. Required Qualifications/Skills Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015Basic Computer skills to include Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power PointMust be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the telephoneAbility to read, analyzes, and communicate information - effectively ask and answer questions from customers, employees and upper management. Communicate to customers, employees and management in a professional and comfortable manner.Skilled in basic computer applications with required operating programs.Valid Class C Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to company standards are requiredExhibit superior customer service skills, pride and ownership Preferred Qualifications/Skills Quality control managementISO 9001-2015Knowledge of Excel is preferredPrevious supervisory experience preferred Values At Yancey Bros.
