Quality Control Manager

About the role

HHI Corporation, a growing federal-focused construction firm based in Seattle, Washington, is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Contractor Quality Control (CQC) activities, including reviewing and approving submittals to ensure materials and installations meet contract specifications prior to owner submission.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications and apply them on-site to verify work is installed correctly.
• Identify and correct deficiencies, coordinate third-party testing, and maintain quality documentation.
• Mentor field teams and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including at least 4 years as a Quality Control Manager, preferably in federal, commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction, with federal project exposure a plus.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and RMS/QCS systems.
• PREFERRED certifications: OSHA 30, EM385-1-1, and Construction Quality Control for Contractors (USACE).

• The ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and government representatives.

Pay

$135,000–$150,000 DOE
