Quality Control Manager
Location: Peachtree City, Georgia
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 (range reflects a position based in GA; final offer considers candidate qualifications, experience, scope of the role, and market/business factors)
About the Role
Oversee all quality and EHS-related functions (review, approve, and control) and supervise Quality staff within a NADCAP QMS environment. Host customer and regulatory audits, ensuring continued certification to AS9100 and NADCAP Chemical Processing.
Responsibilities
- Complete monthly internal audits.
- Develop and approve Process and Inspection plans compliant with customer and industry-specific requirements.
- Review and evaluate contractual requirements in specifications and drawings.
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.
- Review, evaluate, and respond to customer correspondence.
- Maintain training requirements and records for the site.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for discrepant product.
- Identify potential project quality issues.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive business needs and align with corporate goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- AS9100 and NADCAP experience (internal and external audits).
- Ability to manage and develop the QMS system.
- Ability to effectively manage a team of 3+ and delegate/collaborate with the management team.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of chemical processing experience.
- Experience with Nadcap accreditation process and auditing.
- Background in metal finishing or coating manufacturing environment.
