Quality Control Manager

Major duties and responsibilities Enforce, monitor, and document the quality management and quality assurance practices of task orders being sent out for bid to MATOC Contractors. Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) system with the MATOC team and provide weekly update reports to the WMATA project management team. Coordinate with the WMATA project management team to verify that the most current contract documents and standards are being used; report any deviations to the WMATA project management team for disposition and direction. Perform quality control activities, including: contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; and identifying and resolving problems. The Quality Control Manager will not direct means and methods but will validate and document the methods employed by the Contractors.Background and experience required A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or transit quality management and/or assurance. A minimum of three (3) years working on a multiple task order contract. Successful completion of the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course.Location: WMATA New Carrollton Headquarters, New Carrollton, MDEstimated work hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–FridaySalary range: $110,000 – $145,000 YR
