Quality Control Laboratory Technician

About the role

This position requires a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform various tasks in compliance with FDA and ISO regulations. The technician will ensure housekeeping is maintained at appropriate levels, troubleshoot issues, and provide coverage for other technicians on vacation.

Responsibilities

• Perform HPLC and Gas Chromatography analyses as needed
• Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulations
• Communicate analytical results and concerns to support decision-making
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical equipment
• Prepare solutions and perform calibrations
• Participate in general lab housekeeping
• Provide coverage for other QC Lab Techs during vacations

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate's degree in Chemistry with 6 months lab experience, or a High School diploma with 2 years of related experience
• Must have good troubleshooting, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and overtime
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills

Qualifications

• Experience with QC processes is preferred
• Flexible and willing to work shift schedules, including holidays, weekends, and overtime
