Quality Control Lab Tech (3rd shift)

About the role

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is seeking a Quality Control Technician. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality through testing and evaluating the company's products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality by performing defined tests to evaluate product properties and characteristics.
• Make decisions concerning the inspection status and/or adjustments of products or batches according to prescribed instructions and procedures.
• Compile information obtained from testing, record test results in company’s quality systems, and make verbal reports.
• Read meters, dials, gauges and scales; operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment; perform simple math calculations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 1 year of technical experience, or an associate’s degree with no experience.
• Prior QC/Lab experience in chemical manufacturing (or related) environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible to work 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am) and other shifts as needed.

• Technical skills required for quality control laboratory services.
