About the Role

Royal Switchgear, a MacLean Power Systems Company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM) in Bessemer, AL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision, and ensuring production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products before shipment as the final line of defense for quality.
  • Identify and document even the smallest defects using a keen eye for detail.
  • Use tools such as calipers, gauges, and measuring devices to ensure precision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents accurately.
  • Collaborate with production teams to maintain 100% quality standards.
  • Document findings and assist in resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the workspace.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to notice things others might miss.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and precision tools.
  • Ability to use both hand tools and computers effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently as well.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM
