About the Role
Royal Switchgear, a MacLean Power Systems Company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the 2nd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM) in Bessemer, AL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision, and ensuring production quality.
Responsibilities
- Inspect products before shipment as the final line of defense for quality.
- Identify and document even the smallest defects using a keen eye for detail.
- Use tools such as calipers, gauges, and measuring devices to ensure precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents accurately.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain 100% quality standards.
- Document findings and assist in resolving issues before they escalate.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the workspace.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality inspection.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to notice things others might miss.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and precision tools.
- Ability to use both hand tools and computers effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently as well.
