What You'll Do
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections throughout the production process
- Inspect products during cupping, body making, trimming, washing, printing, coating, necking, flanging, and final production
- Conduct quality tests for defects including dents, cracks, buckle resistance, coating integrity, and axial load
- Verify print quality, color consistency, labeling, and overall product appearance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of quality control experience in manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal packaging, beverage can manufacturing, or food packaging
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience with quality documentation and inspection records
- Understanding of FDA, BRC, ISO, or other manufacturing quality standards
- Six Sigma or other quality certifications
Schedule
- Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Additional overtime may be available based on production needs
