About the role
We at Kelly are seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to work at a premier manufacturing client in Billerica, MA.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to quality and quality engineering (QE) functions
- Conducting nondestructive examination (NDE) and quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various production stages to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards
- Capturing and analyzing statistical data from processes to confirm compliance or identify deviations from standards
- Recommending improvements to methods, procedures, and standards to enhance quality processes
- Inspecting purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment, confirming accuracy, and developing inspection methods for manufactured parts
- Utilizing technical drawings, specifications, industry standards, and adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures as necessary
- Leading cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, mentoring and training less experienced peers
- Documenting results by recording detailed test results and quality problem reports
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Technical Diploma
- Bring 7-10 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector
- Possess advanced expertise in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes
- Have strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specification requirements
Pay
$34.00 per hour
Schedule
1'st - 7:00AM to 3:30 PM (M-F)
