Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform basic visual inspection using devices and record inspection data onto forms.
• Conduct incoming inspection of parts, including PO verification using the ERP system.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for mechanical and assembly parts.
• Support machine shop QA functions.
• Read product drawings and specifications.
• Utilize MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Collaborate with quality and production personnel.

Requirements

• Use basic mechanical hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and torque screwdrivers.
• Operate electrical devices such as digital multimeters and ohmmeters.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Intermediate math skills.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Basic CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation experience.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear, and taste or smell.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
