Quality Control Inspector

U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Defense contract requirements.
About the role
Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections to ensure in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Ability to obtain pertinent information regarding specific problems, draw appropriate conclusions, and move to resolution is essential. Solid computer skills for data entry are required.
Responsibilities
- Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
- Ensures activities and items are in compliance with documented Product Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Documents audit results and issues reports to management, as required.
- Maintains solid computer skills for data entry requirements.
- Maintains a proactive approach to resolving issues while completing assignments on time with a sense of urgency.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 0-1 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Environment, specifically Product Inspection.
- Completed IPC-A-610 CIS certification and J-STD-001 CIS certification training would be a strong plus.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with engineering and management.
- U.S. citizenship is required (ITAR facility).
