About the role

We are seeking a full-time Quality Control Inspector to support the Miami, FL area. This role involves performing tasks related to our quality management program (JQMP), inspections, documentation, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections on completed work in the field in a timely manner that adheres to the appropriate schedule.
  • Complete proper documentation for inspections and assist with entering data into the in-house management system.
  • Ensure that all work meets guidelines related to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate with management and team members when problems arise and offer possible solutions.
  • Assist the Project and Quality Team with developing, implementing, and monitoring quality processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent general computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
  • Ability to read DOT plans to inspect completed work.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to take direction and produce quality work efficiently.
  • Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology.
  • Agree to comply with all safety processes and procedures.
  • Ability to use smartphones and applications.
  • Ability to adjust to a changing work schedule and work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate hand/power tools.
  • Dependable, highly organized, and possess business maturity and discretion.
  • Clean driving record (essential).
  • Must pass criminal background check, MVR, and controlled substance testing prior to hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Roadway, highway structure, and/or tunnel maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with the infrastructure or similar industry.

Schedule

  • Full-time; typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM.
  • Must be flexible and work varying schedules.

Pay

Competitive base pay with an annual profitability-based bonus. Eligible for referral bonus and recognition incentives.
