About the role

The Custodial Quality Control Inspector will ensure adherence to the GCE Quality Control Plan (QCP) as it pertains to the performance standards of assigned worksite(s). The QC Inspector provides the Project Manager and operational staff with established performance objectives and inspects services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies. This position will receive, investigate, and perform root cause analysis on customer complaints, providing recommendations to correct confirmed deficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the GCE Quality Control Plan (QCP) for assigned worksite(s).
  • Provide Project Manager and operational staff with performance objectives.
  • Inspect services for defects, timeliness, and discrepancies.
  • Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis.
  • Provide recommendations to correct confirmed deficiencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in custodial services.
  • Knowledge of Ability One mission and expectations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong team member and customer service skills.
  • Physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
  • Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
  • May require a valid driver’s license in the state of residence, a satisfactory driving record, and insurability under company policy.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
  • Must pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.

Physical Requirements

  • May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year in various weather conditions.
  • Most work will take place indoors.
  • Will work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Must follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.
  • Schedules are subject to change.
  • Regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and reach above head.
  • Must lift up to 40 pounds; occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary.
