Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector, at Croft, LLC, will monitor assigned departments within the plant for quality of all components, sub assembly, final assembly, packaging, and finished products. This includes checking products from assigned areas in the warehouse. This will include moderate troubleshooting when problems arise with products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned departments for quality of all components, sub assembly, final assembly, packaging, and finished products.
• Check products from assigned areas in the warehouse.
• Perform moderate troubleshooting when problems arise with products.
• Work under the direct supervision of the quality control manager or the assistant quality control manager.

Qualifications

• Learn extensive product knowledge of different series of windows.
• Complete daily written reports and various special reports as needed.
• Read a tape measure, calipers, electronic & manual scales, micrometer, verniers, and understand blue prints or have the willingness and ability to learn.
• Work in all areas of the plant performing quality control duties as assigned.
• Learn quality control test in accordance with ASTM standards using the necessary equipment, calculate and document results.
• Relate and get along well with others and able to follow directions as instructed.
