Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector for the Mass Save Home Energy Services (HES) Residential Coordinated Delivery program. Your role involves providing insights on available energy savings measures via thorough energy residential inspections, troubleshooting technical problems, and acting as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide insights on available energy savings measures via thorough energy residential inspections.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications.
• Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
• Travel daily throughout a defined territory in a company provided vehicle.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in building science or a related field is acceptable.
• Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification is required within 6 months of hire, but will be provided by the company if not attained prior.
• Sign-on bonus of up to $2000 for any candidate coming on board with BPI credentials.
• Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds, climb attic stairs and climb a small ladder to access workspaces.
• The ability to fluently speak Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other foreign languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Position requires flexibility to work evenings and some Saturdays.
• The ability to frequently crawl in awkward confined spaces required.
• Basic competency with a variety of small hand tools required.

Skills

• Relevant experience in building science or a related field.
• Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification.
