Responsibilities
- Inspect work in place for compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, codes, and standards.
- Review and understand geotechnical requirements and procedures.
- Perform and document preparatory, initial installation, follow-up, and pre-cover inspections.
- Cookordinate and observe required testing and inspections to verify specification compliance.
- Verify materials, equipment, mock-ups, and sample installations are approved prior to installation.
- Review test reports, inspection reports, and laboratory results for compliance.
- Identify, document, and track deficiencies, nonconforming work, punch list items, and rework through final resolution.
- Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports, test logs, photographs, certifications, and closeout documentation.
- Cookordinate with subcontractors, testing agencies, consultants, and project team members on quality-related inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
- Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed and quality issues are fully resolved.
- Support project closeout, turnover, and commissioning by verifying completion of required inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
- Water testing of exterior building components, including roofing systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management and three (3) years of related experience in the type of work being performed on the project (strongly preferred) OR at least five (5) years of related experience.
- Skills: Technical knowledge of quality control processes, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and QC Inspection Software, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Experience: Willing to travel and relocate, as both may be required.
