Quality Control Examiner, Materials
Summary
Therma, a Legence company, is seeking a Quality Control Examiner, Materials to support the Quality Control and project teams with material receiving inspections, documentation review, coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control inspections of received materials and record results.
- Communicate results effectively with Project Managers, foremen, and QC staff.
- Support document assembly and coordination for submittals.
- Prepare for and participate in project meetings.
- Support material delivery and receiving activities.
- Track materials-related QC issues and update the Project and QC Manager.
- Obtain vendor quotes, purchase orders, and packing slips from project manager.
- Provide general administrative support to the quality management team.
- Safely lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20–25 lbs. frequently.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or commercial construction or service environments is preferred.
- Hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
