Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing installations.
- Verify workmanship complies with project drawings, specifications, and local/state codes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Perform punch list inspections and monitor corrective actions.
- Maintain quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Cookordination testing and commissioning activities.
Project Support
- Collaborate with project managers and field leadership throughout project lifecycle.
- Review plans, specifications, and submittals for quality and constructability concerns.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective solutions.
- Assist with project closeout documentation and owner turnover packages.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Monitor adherence to NEC, plumbing, and mechanical codes and standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and jobsite audits.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and safety.
Training & Process Improvement
- Assist in training field personnel on quality standards and installation best practices.
- Help develop standard operating procedures and quality checklists.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
- Promote a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s - Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and code requirements.
- Knowledge of NEC, plumbing, and mechanical codes.
- Experience conducting inspections and quality audits.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience with commissioning processes.
- QA/QC certifications or related industry certifications.
- Background in commercial or industrial construction projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk jobsites and climb ladders when necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
