Quality Control Engineer
Responsibilities
- Perform routine analysis, control quality and maintain operation of the quality control and quality assurance systems
- Aid other departments with projects ranging from design and implementation to financing and labor management via direction from Plant Engineer
- Cook up and coordinate with Lab Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of quality control and plant systems
- Uphold and work by the core value set: integrity, safety, accountability, teamwork, respect, quality and innovation
- Provide and ensure effective preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs and troubleshooting are carried out on all laboratory analytical equipment
- Comply with and enforce governmental procedures, rules and regulations; comply with company policies and plant rules
- Chemical and physical analysis on raw, semi-finished and finished materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills
- Hands-on; mechanically oriented
- Intern experience within a heavy industrial facility is preferred
Education
- BS Engineering, or equivalent Science degree

Compensation
Salary range is $75-85 DOE
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
