Quality Control Electrical Tester
About the role
Surveying, testing, and inspecting electrical installations to ensure conformance with standards. Checking for irregularities and defects. Adhering to HUD and Texas State requirements and guidelines. Completing testing reports and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Utilize check sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
- Follow up on repairs continuously.
- Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
- Coordinate with electrical personnel to effectively resolve problems related to electrical defects.
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and/or Experience
- High School degree or G.E.D.
- One year related experience and/or training is preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Work will be done in seasonal weather, warm and/or cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
