About the role

To maintain a high-quality product by accurately running product boxes and accessories, etch product with the correct etching program, pulling and scanning covers, verifying labels and accessories, and final acceptance of product.

  • Maintains quality product by:
    • Running correct boxes and accessories.
    • Ensuring inventory is at acceptable levels.
    • Maintaining the label printer.
    • Ensuring proper etching program is in use for the product being run.
    • Pulling and scanning correct covers, verifying labels, and completing final acceptance of product.
  • Manages inventory by:
    • Maintaining scrap report of packaging materials and accessories.
    • Reporting cover and accessory levels to ATL or manager.
  • Maintains product records by:
    • Maintaining scrap report.
    • Verifying the labels are correct and the product is ready for final acceptance.
    • Completing work order for the appropriate step in the process.
    • Following good manufacturing documentation practices.
  • Supports operations by:
    • Communicating with Inventory and Packaging teams to keep operations efficient.
    • Segregating incomplete packaging products.
    • Diagnosing packaging product failures to allow for reporting and trend analysis.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by:
    • Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager.
    • Complying with all safety and quality policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Maintains quality service by:
    • Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges.
    • Maintaining an efficient work pace, meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.
  • Contributes to team effort by:
    • Filling in for other QA department job duties as necessary.
    • Maintaining a good attendance record.
    • Accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred or 0+ years previous relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and/or other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between series of numbers.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic personal computer skills (e.g., turn computer on and run one or two company-specific programs that require data entry skills).
  • Planning/Organization: Prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Narrow aisle training; pallet jack training.
  • Promptness and good attendance are essential to the smooth function of this position and department.
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers.
  • Ability to define and solve minor problems within one’s own work and with coworkers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.

Pay

The expected pay range for this role is $17.00 – $17.50 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.

Schedule

Full-time, 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4:00pm
