Quality Control Analyst I, Research Grade

Responsibilities
- Review daily work instructions and organize individual daily workflow
- Independently perform and document established QC test methods according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain inventory, reagents, buffers, and other lab consumables
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in any scientific field preferred
- Knowledge of basic laboratory practices
- Ability to operate precision measuring tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Required to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and use arms, hands, and fingers for various activities
- May stand or remain sedentary for long periods of time
- Works in a Research Grade lab setting and may encounter various solutions and chemicals
- Responsible for activities related to biological processes such as bacterial growth
- Uses standard laboratory equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, glass ware, shake flasks, fermenters, fume hoods, and computers
Skills
- Knowledge of QC testing methods preferred
- Experience working in a laboratory environment preferred

Pay
The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
Schedule
This position may work first shift (typically Monday-Friday, 7:00am- 3:00pm).
