Quality Control Analyst (Bioassay)

About the role

This role performs all tasks necessary to maintain the multiple cell lines required for bioassay testing. The QC Analyst, Cell Core is on the front line to ensure QC Bioassays can be performed. This position is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintains mammalian cell lines
• Gathers data and documents test results
• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
• Participates in required training activities
• Maintains laboratory supplies
• Writes and revises reports, qualifications, and procedures
• Maintains laboratory purchased reagents, equipment, and supplies through ordering, login, inventory, and stocking
• Determines and responds to material alert levels or provides stability study metrics as required
• Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data
• Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use
• Coordinates sample and reagent transfers/shipments, verifying integrity of received materials
• Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups
• May be responsible for maintaining a specific project
• May devise or develop new analytical methods and techniques
• May assist in validation of methods
• May be involved in establishing the transfer of methodology from R&D

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education
• Experience with GMP/GLP preferred
• Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay

Salary Range (hourly): $24.76 - $38.70
