Job Responsibilities

  • Cover conduct inspections and testing of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design and specification requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC reports and submit findings to project and operations leadership.
  • Manage QA/QC records and documentation for assigned projects in accordance with company standards.
  • Perform quality checks on suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
  • Identify and investigate non-conformance issues, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify implementation.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and field leadership to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance field performance and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to field teams and trade partners on quality standards and documentation practices.
  • Ensure all QA/QC work aligns with company safety policies and industry regulations.

Required Knowledge, Education, And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, construction, or mechanical systems environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Familiarity with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related QA/QC software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on active construction sites and in varying environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability to travel as required to project sites or vendor locations.
