About the role
This is a full-time, onsite position located at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. The Quality Control Analyst specializes in Airfield Management QC, ensuring regulatory compliance and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the shop-level point of contact for all inspection issues, including regulatory compliance.
- Perform audits, surveillance inspections, and performance metric validations.
- Complete audit, surveillance, and metric reports for assigned areas.
- Analyze data to identify areas of improvement in current processes.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventative actions with area supervisors and managers.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Serve as liaison to government quality representatives to ensure program quality system compliance with Government, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Identify and work compliance issues related to the functional operation of the contract.
- Maintain a quality-compliant workplace.
- Help maintain the CMMS, its associated databases, and update as required for accurate QA/QC reports.
- Assist in developing and disseminating plans and procedures for the QA/QC program and operating policies.
- Review site work to verify compliance with applicable plans, procedures, guides, and regulations.
- Plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Originate necessary documents, forms, reports, and query computer systems for project-related information.
- Ensure timely submission of required reports to the customer.
- Conduct QA/QC meetings and training when requested; develop training materials as required.
- Maintain effective working relationships with the Chugach management team to meet mission objectives.
- Keep the Quality Manager informed of unique situations and problems encountered.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.
Key responsibilities include accountability to the Quality Control & Safety Manager, timely and accurate performance of duties, clear communication, and working independently without continuous supervision.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in quality management (Air Force QC experience preferred).
- 1+ year of airfield experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of applicable Government environmental regulations.
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of industry standards for QC.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people professionally and courteously in diverse situations.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug testing required by the contract.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- U.S. Citizenship.
