Quality Compliance Engineer
About the role
Pilatus is hiring a Quality Compliance Engineer to join our team in Broomfield, CO. The Quality Compliance Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory documentation framework for Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. This role ensures company manuals, policies, processes, and procedures remain compliant with applicable FAA and EASA regulations and company requirements. The position serves as the primary focal point for regulatory compliance documentation, supports internal and external audits, interprets new regulatory requirements, and drives continuous improvement of the organization's documented management system.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and revise Quality manuals, policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions supporting FAA Part 145, Part 21, Part 43, EASA Part 145, EASA Part 21, and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure the QMS documentation structure remains current, controlled, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Monitor FAA, EASA, and other regulatory changes and assess impacts to company documentation and processes.
- Lead revisions to Repair Station Manuals, Quality Control Manuals, Production manuals, and supporting procedures.
- Partner with operational departments to document compliant business processes and drive standardization.
- Support FAA, EASA, FOCA, and customer audits by preparing documentation and coordinating corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Quality, or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of aviation quality or regulatory compliance experience.
- Working knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Parts 21, 43, and 145 and EASA Part 21 and Part 145 regulations.
- Experience developing controlled manuals, procedures, and quality documentation.
Skills
- Excellent technical writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience supporting regulatory audits and corrective action programs.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $86,000 per year depending on experience.
